How to use Frozen Meat

How to use Frozen Meat

The biggest practical difference between buying meat from a grocery store and buying meat from our farm, is that we only offer frozen meat. This is a big departure from the norm! I grew up on a farm where we always had meat in the freezer, but I also lived in Milwaukee for ten years, and there I only used fresh meat from the store.

Having done both, I think having frozen meat stocked in the freezer is way easier and less time-consuming. It does take some adjusting because you need to think about what is for dinner tomorrow night, rather than just tonight, but once you get in the habit of shifting your meal-planning mindset to taking meat out of the freezer in preparation for the next few days, it greatly reduces meal-planning stress.

Want help? I'd love to send you my guide to flexible meal planning and I'll explain how I use frozen meat to get dinner on the table.
